1 Ownership Statement

• 1.1. National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), a not-for-profit company incorporated under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013, under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India having its registered office at B-901, 9th Floor, Tower B, World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi-110029
• 1.2. The Website is designed, developed and maintained by NIXI and is tasked with increasing internet penetration and adoption in India by facilitating various infrastructure aspects to enable the internet ecosystem to be managed and used by the masses.
• 1.3. The four services under NIXI includes:

• 1.3.1.Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) for building Internet Exchange Points,
• 1.3.2..IN Registry for building the .IN domain digital identity,
• 1.3.3.IRINN for IPv4 and IPv6 addresses adoption, and managing the National Internet Registry in India,
• 1.3.4.NIXI CA provides trusted Digital Signature Certificates, e-Sign, SSL/TLS, and related PKI services to enable secure and reliable digital transactions in India.

2 Nature and Applicability

• 2.1. This document (together with the documents mentioned herein) establishes the general Terms & Conditions that govern the use of this website, including any site programming interfaces, data documentation, or services whether accessed via computer, mobile device or any other Website.
• 2.2. This Terms & Conditions are an electronic record as prescribed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rules made thereunder and is published in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Applicable Rules and Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) 3.0 that provides for the due diligence to be exercised for the access or usage of this Website and availing Services offered on this Website along with other applicable laws for time to time.

3 Definition

For the purposes of this Terms & Conditions:

• a.Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.
• b.Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, mobile or a digital tablet.

• g.Usage Data refers to data generated using the Services on the Website.
• h.You/Your/User means the individual accessing/viewing or using the Service, or the company/corporate entity, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing, viewing or using the Service, as applicable.
• i.Terms and Conditions means these terms & conditions amended from time to time.
• j.Third Party shall mean and include banks, associations, company or any entity whose facilities are being utilized by NIXI to provide Services to the Users.
